  • Professor of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at University of Toronto
  • Fellow in the specialty of strabismus at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Pacific Medical Center, where he learned about botulinum toxin from the origianl drug developers
  • In 1985, the first physician in Ontario to use botulinum toxin, and has published extensively on the results of its use in strabismus and neurologic conditions
  • In 1999, Dr. Kraft was elected to the Association for Research in Strabismus (affectionately known as ”The Squint Club“). This prestigious group of North American strabismus specialists is limited to 27 members (from among over 500 ophthalmologists specializing in this field). He is the second Canadian member ever elected to the group since its founding 60 years ago.
